Job Description:

This role involves managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting organizational goals through accurate financial reporting and analysis. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in accounting principles and technology to maintain efficient financial operations.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee and maintain accounting records for various funds and corporate entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Manage the General Ledger and prepare detailed financial statements
Develop and submit external financial reports, including tax documentation, in a timely manner
Collaborate with directors to create annual budgets and provide ongoing performance analyses
Establish and enforce accounting policies while implementing effective internal controls
Coordinate with external professionals such as auditors, attorneys, and bankers as needed
Handle invoicing processes and supervise collections to ensure timely payments
Assist directors in financial planning, budget forecasting, and performance reviews
Lead special projects and assignments to enhance operational efficiency

Requirements:

At least five years of experience in financial accounting, with a proven track record in bookkeeping
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline
Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Proficiency in QuickBooks, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and bank reconciliations
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant tools
Outstanding organizational and analytical abilities with a commitment to accuracy
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
