Job Description

Robert Half is seeking an experienced and dependable Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join our Full-Time Engagement Professional (FTEP) team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys owning the full accounting cycle and stepping into projects where they can bring structure, organization, and immediate value. You’ll partner with a variety of businesses across industries—managing their books, improving processes, and keeping financials running smoothly.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage the full cycle of accounting, including AP, AR, and payroll
  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
  • Handle bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Process and reconcile payroll and related reporting
  • Support month-end and year-end close
  • Assist with budget tracking and cash flow management
  • Clean up and streamline accounting processes when needed

Requirements

  • 4+ years of full-charge bookkeeping or hands-on accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP principles
  • Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Dynamics, etc.)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
