This Contract to permanent opportunity offers an excellent chance to manage financial operations and contribute to the overall efficiency of office processes. Ideal candidates will have a solid accounting background and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities, including managing records and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee and manage all daily office operations to ensure efficiency and organization
Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger updates
Perform bank and account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
Assist in preparing budgets, generating financial reports, and analyzing data for decision-making
Manage tax-related tasks, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Provide technical support for accounting systems, including Peachtree/Sage software
Supervise administrative staff, delegate tasks, and ensure adherence to office policies
Monitor and maintain office supplies and inventory to support smooth operations
Work two Saturdays per month as part of the regular schedule, with overtime as needed
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or Office Manager
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial practices
Proficiency in 10-key typing, data entry, and accounting software like Peachtree/Sage
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and record-keeping
Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
Willingness to work two Saturdays per month as part of the job requirements
