Job Description:

Seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper responsible for managing the company's complete accounting cycle from daily transaction processing to month-end close and reporting. This role oversees all bookkeeping functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, bank reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to independently manage the full accounting workflow while partnering with leadership on financial accuracy and process improvements.

Job Responsibility:

Maintain the full general ledger and ensure accurate posting of all daily transactions
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year‑end financial statements (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow)
Manage month‑end close, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
Support annual audit processes by preparing schedules and documentation
Oversee full AP cycle: coding, entering, reconciling, and paying vendor invoices
Manage AR functions including invoicing, payment applications, deposits, and collections follow‑up
Maintain vendor and customer files and ensure accuracy of records
Reconcile statements and resolve discrepancies with vendors and customers
Perform monthly bank, credit card, and loan account reconciliations
Monitor cash flow and prepare weekly or monthly cash reports for management
Record deposits, electronic payments, and credit card transactions
Maintain accurate, organized financial records in compliance with GAAP
Prepare and file sales tax, 1099s, and other required reports
Support tax preparers with year-end documentation
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
Provide financial insights to leadership for decision-making
Recommend and implement process improvements to increase accounting efficiency
Support office management or administrative tasks as needed, depending on company size

Requirements:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
3–7+ years of progressive bookkeeping or accounting experience
Demonstrated experience with full-cycle bookkeeping and month‑end close
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online/Desktop strongly preferred)
Strong Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting tools
Knowledge of GAAP and general accounting best practices
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently
