We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in New York, New York. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily operations, financial management, and human resources functions. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in bookkeeping and financial administration.
Job Responsibility:
Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing
Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records
Oversee cash flow management to maintain the financial health of the organization
Prepare and analyze financial reports to support decision-making processes
Supervise human resources and payroll operations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
Coordinate contracts and agreements related to IT, legal, and other administrative areas
Monitor the institution's financial performance and recommend improvements where necessary
Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all bookkeeping activities
Collaborate with leadership to address operational and financial needs
Maintain organized and secure financial records
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role
Expertise in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
Strong ability to perform bank reconciliations and manage cash flow
Proficiency in preparing detailed financial reports
Knowledge of human resources and payroll operations
Excellent organizational and time management skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Nice to have:
Familiarity with IT and legal contract management is a plus
