We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join a team in Boca Raton, Florida. This position is ideal for someone who can manage day-to-day accounting operations with accuracy, maintain organized financial records, and support timely reporting across core bookkeeping functions. The right candidate will be comfortable handling both payables and receivables, reconciling accounts, processing payroll, and keeping the general ledger current.
Job Responsibility
Oversee complete bookkeeping activities, ensuring financial transactions are recorded accurately and consistently
Manage accounts payable processes, including reviewing invoices, scheduling payments, and maintaining vendor records
Handle accounts receivable tasks by issuing invoices, monitoring incoming payments, and following up on outstanding balances
Perform bank and account reconciliations to confirm that financial records align with supporting documentation
Process payroll using ADP while maintaining accuracy in employee pay data and related records
Prepare and file monthly sales tax information in accordance with reporting deadlines and requirements
Maintain the general ledger and support month-end close activities by reviewing entries and resolving discrepancies
Use QuickBooks to track financial activity, generate reports, and help maintain reliable accounting data
Requirements
Demonstrated experience in full charge bookkeeping with responsibility for end-to-end accounting support
Hands-on proficiency with QuickBooks in an accounting or bookkeeping environment
Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
Experience completing bank reconciliations and identifying inconsistencies in financial records
Familiarity with payroll processing through ADP
Understanding of monthly sales tax preparation and submission procedures
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple accounting priorities accurately
