Full Charge Bookkeeper

• Handle daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing procedures
• Prepare and maintain financial reports and records in alignment with company policies and standards
• Manage vendor accounts, billing, and collections with a focus on timely and efficient processing
• Process payroll weekly or biweekly, maintain payroll documentation, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
• Administer employee benefits and manage HR-related documentation
• Act as the primary point of contact for accounting and HR inquiries, fostering clear communication within the organization
• Utilize Sage accounting software to manage bookkeeping, reporting, and transactional activities

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in full charge bookkeeping
• Strong knowledge of payroll processing and HR administration
• An associate degree or accounting certification is required, with a bachelor's degree preferred
• Hands-on experience with Sage accounting software
• Familiarity with industries such as service providers, construction, or similar fields is preferred
• Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
