Our client in San Diego, CA is seeking a detail-oriented Full-Charge Bookkeeper. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s financial records and supporting the leadership team with timely, insightful reporting. Job Responsibility:
Oversee accounts payable and receivable, billing, and collections
Manage bank and credit card reconciliations and general ledger entries
Process payroll and handle related tax filings and reporting
Prepare financial statements and reports for management review
Support budgeting, forecasting, and month-end and year-end close processes
Maintain compliance with internal controls and audit requirements
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors as needed
Identify areas for process improvement and help implement solutions
Requirements:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
3+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience
Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, etc.)
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and payroll processing
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
