We are looking for a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Warren, Michigan. This contract-to-permanent position offers an opportunity to manage a range of financial and administrative responsibilities, including preparing financial statements and supporting HR operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong bookkeeping expertise, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to work independently.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
Manage accounts payable processes, including data entry and vendor payments
Support accounts receivable functions, including invoicing and payment tracking
Perform bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records
Utilize QuickBooks and Peachtree software for bookkeeping and financial management
Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate data entry for employee records
Oversee onboarding processes and maintain organized employee files
Conduct year-end financial reviews and ensure timely reporting
Collaborate with team members to address bookkeeping and financial inquiries as needed
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, with proven expertise in financial reporting
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Peachtree accounting software
Strong skills in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Experience with bank reconciliations and payroll data entry
Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting
Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Nice to have:
Familiarity with HR-related tasks, such as onboarding and maintaining employee records, is a plus
