We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Pinehurst, North Carolina. This is a long-term contract position requiring someone who is detail oriented and has strong financial management skills to oversee a variety of accounting tasks.
Job Responsibility:
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely transactions
Oversee full-cycle payroll operations, including preparation, processing, and compliance
Perform monthly close procedures, ensuring all financial records are up-to-date and reconciled
Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and consistency in financial reporting
Prepare detailed financial statements and reports for internal use and external review
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with financial policies and objectives
Monitor and manage cash flow to support the organization’s operational needs
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards
Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors
Identify opportunities for process improvements within accounting operations
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role
Proficiency in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
Strong understanding of monthly close procedures and general ledger systems
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Proficient in financial software and tools for bookkeeping and reporting
