Full Charge Bookkeeper

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and bank reconciliations
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger in accordance with GAAP
• Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and internal management reports
• Perform detailed account analysis and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and data integrity
• Process payroll for approximately 120 employees and support payroll-related tax filings and compliance
• Record, track, and review transactions within QuickBooks Online
• Assist with budget tracking and financial planning initiatives
• Maintain organized financial documentation using double-entry bookkeeping principles
• Support external audits by preparing schedules and providing supporting documentation
• Stay current on accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices within the restaurant industry

• Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online
• Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting fundamentals
• Proven experience with: Bank reconciliations, Balance sheet reconciliations, Account reconciliations
• Proficiency in: Journal entries, Debits and credits, Double-entry bookkeeping, Account analysis
• Payroll processing experience, including payroll tax compliance
• Ability to produce accurate, timely financial reports
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and handle confidential information
• Strong data entry skills (10-key preferred)
