Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Decatur, Georgia. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to handle diverse accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, payroll, and administrative duties. The role combines onsite training with a hybrid work schedule, allowing you to balance in-office and remote work efficiently.

Job Responsibility:

Manage and maintain financial records, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Oversee bank transactions, allocations, and ensure accurate reporting
Perform payroll processing for salaried employees on a biweekly or semimonthly schedule
Handle minimal accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, relying on clients for primary AP/AR responsibilities
Utilize QuickBooks to ensure accurate and efficient bookkeeping processes
Complete administrative duties, such as maintaining filing systems using Office Tools
Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment, transitioning seamlessly between projects
Provide onsite support during the initial training period, with a hybrid schedule thereafter

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or strong AP/AR Accountant skills with a willingness to learn
Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software
Strong understanding of financial processes, including bank reconciliations and journal entries
Ability to process payroll and manage related tasks efficiently
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with administrative tasks, such as filing system management
Comfortable working in a hybrid environment, with initial onsite training
Strong communication and collaboration skills to thrive in a fast-paced setting
