We are looking for a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting operations in Denver, Colorado. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who can manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate financial records, and communicate effectively across teams. The successful candidate will bring strong bookkeeping expertise, sound judgment, and hands-on experience with core accounting and payroll processes.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee the complete bookkeeping cycle, ensuring financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time
Handle vendor payments and customer billing activities, including monitoring outstanding balances and resolving discrepancies
Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger entries to maintain reliable and current financial records
Administer payroll processing on a bi-weekly schedule while supporting compliance with applicable policies and deadlines
Lead month-end close activities and prepare supporting documentation for financial review
Maintain fixed asset records and develop depreciation schedules to support accurate reporting
Prepare trial balance information and assist with the production of core accounting reports
Provide guidance to accounting support staff, including entry-level bookkeepers or clerical team members, as needed
Requirements:
Demonstrated experience in full-charge bookkeeping with the ability to manage accounting functions independently
Proficiency with QuickBooks and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
Background in full-cycle payroll processing, including bi-weekly payroll administration
Familiarity with payroll platforms such as ADP
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
Clear communication and customer service abilities when working with internal and external contacts
At least five years of relevant bookkeeping experience is preferred
