Our client, an innovative company in the technology industry, is seeking an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to oversee day-to-day accounting operations. This position is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who can manage the full cycle of bookkeeping functions, maintain accurate financial records, and support leadership with timely financial reporting in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibility
Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activity
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts
Prepare and post journal entries and maintain accurate financial records
Process payroll and related payroll reconciliations
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports
Assist with budget tracking, cash flow monitoring, and expense analysis
Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation records
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Work closely with external accountants on tax filings, audits, and compliance matters
Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and reporting deadlines
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies
Requirements
3+ years of full charge bookkeeping or comprehensive accounting experience
Experience in the technology industry preferred
Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting
Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or similar ERP systems
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
Nice to have
Experience supporting a growing or startup technology company
Familiarity with month-end close, financial statement preparation, and cash flow reporting
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
