We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage and oversee accounting operations for a small company located near East Syracuse. This role requires someone with strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle diverse bookkeeping responsibilities effectively. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing financial transactions, payroll, and billing processes.
Job Responsibility:
Manage all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Perform regular bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records
Process payroll efficiently, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Handle AIA billing, including preparation and submission of invoices
Maintain detailed and organized records of financial transactions
Oversee general ledger entries and adjustments to ensure proper accounting
Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and reports
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
Assist in preparing financial statements and other required documentation
Address any discrepancies or issues promptly, ensuring smooth financial operations
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in full charge bookkeeping or a similar role
Proficiency in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Strong experience with bank reconciliations and payroll management
Knowledge of AIA billing procedures and requirements
Familiarity with accounting software and tools
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
