Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to support a manufacturing operation in Florida. This contract opportunity has the potential to become permanent and is ideal for someone who can confidently manage day-to-day accounting activities while keeping payroll, payables, receivables, and financial records accurate and organized. The role requires strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks and the ability to work effectively in an onsite, fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee end-to-end bookkeeping functions, maintaining accurate financial records and supporting daily accounting operations
  • Process payroll and coordinate timely payroll payments while ensuring employee time records are reviewed and approved correctly
  • Manage accounts payable activities, including invoice handling, payment scheduling, and vendor record accuracy
  • Handle accounts receivable tasks by tracking incoming payments, maintaining customer account records, and following up on outstanding balances
  • Create and monitor purchase orders to support operational purchasing needs and maintain organized documentation
  • Track inventory-related records and assist with maintaining accurate stock and cost information within accounting processes
  • Perform bank reconciliations and review financial data to identify discrepancies and support reporting accuracy
  • Provide administrative support for HR-related activities as needed, helping maintain organized employee-related records

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper with strong ownership of daily accounting functions
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks is required
  • Hands-on experience managing payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
  • Ability to complete bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records with close attention to detail
  • Familiarity with purchase order processing and inventory-related accounting support
  • Experience working in an onsite role within a manufacturing or similar operational environment is preferred
  • Spanish language skills are preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a contract-to-permanent setting
