Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Hamilton, Ohio. The ideal candidate will excel in managing construction-related accounting tasks and will play a key role in overseeing financial operations. This position offers the opportunity to grow into an office management role.

Job Responsibility:

Handle all aspects of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions
Perform detailed bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
Manage billing functions, including the preparation and issuance of invoices
Oversee construction accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with industry-specific standards
Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and data analysis
Prepare and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial statements
Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency
Assist in transitioning to an office management role by mastering administrative and operational responsibilities
Monitor and resolve discrepancies in accounting records and financial documentation
Provide support during audits and ensure adherence to financial regulations

Requirements:

Proven experience in construction accounting, including familiarity with industry-specific practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel QuickBooks
Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
Ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations and maintain financial records
Excellent billing and invoicing skills, with attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and prepare financial statements
Effective communication and organizational skills
Willingness to take on office management responsibilities as part of career growth
