We are looking for a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in New York, New York. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing financial records, performing bank reconciliations, and handling accounts payable and receivable processes. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with external accountants.
Job Responsibility:
Record financial transactions accurately and efficiently into the accounting system
Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely payments and collections
Reconcile bank accounts, including three separate accounts, to maintain accurate financial records
Prepare and issue invoices to clients while ensuring proper documentation and follow-up
Process vendor payments and maintain up-to-date records of all transactions
Collaborate with an external accountant to support financial reporting and compliance
Monitor cash flow and provide regular updates to support financial decision-making
Maintain organized and secure financial documentation for audits and internal reviews
Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in full charge bookkeeping
Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software
Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Demonstrated ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with external accountants and vendors
Familiarity with maintaining and managing financial records in compliance with regulations
