We are looking for a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Akron, Ohio. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in managing financial transactions and records. You will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day accounting tasks and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This is a direct hire position with standard business hours: Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. In office then after training can work 1-2 days/week at home.
Job Responsibility:
Manage and oversee all financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
Utilize QuickBooks to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
Process payments to vendors, promoters, and other stakeholders in a timely manner
Reconcile bank statements and ensure proper documentation for all transactions
Calculate and settle financial obligations after events, including ticket sales and promoter payouts
Collaborate with external accounting firms to address higher-level financial tasks
Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for improving efficiency in processes
Prepare and review detailed financial reports for internal use
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
Proficiency in QuickBooks and other financial management software
Solid understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex financial transactions
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing financial records
Knowledge of financial regulations and best practices
