Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Part-Time Full Charge Bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting operations for a growing organization. This contract opportunity with permanent potential is ideal for someone who can independently manage the full accounting cycle, maintain accurate financial records, and contribute to timely month-end reporting. The right candidate will bring strong bookkeeping experience, sound judgment, and confidence working across both payables and receivables. The role would be 20-25 hours per week in the Oro Valley area.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee the complete bookkeeping process, ensuring financial activity is recorded accurately and consistently
  • Manage month-end close tasks, including reviewing balances, preparing entries, and supporting the completion of financial reports
  • Reconcile bank and account statements on a regular basis to identify discrepancies and maintain accurate records
  • Monitor accounts payable activity, process vendor transactions, and help keep obligations current
  • Track accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding balances, and maintain organized aging schedules
  • Prepare and update aging reports to support cash flow visibility and account review.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in full charge bookkeeping or a closely related accounting role
  • Practical experience managing full-cycle accounting responsibilities from daily entries through closing activities
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks and confidence using accounting software in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Experience completing bank reconciliations with strong attention to accuracy and detail
  • Ability to prepare reports, organize financial data, and support financial statement production
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
