Job Responsibility:

  • Secure high performing daily operations and an efficient distribution network connected to all fulfilment operations in IKEA Korea including standard operating procedures, planning, execution and follow up and day to day continuous improvement of operations and the goods-flow process, relevant negotiations, IWAY and legal compliance with a focus on quality and a customer-centric, collaborative mind-set in all touchpoints for the lowest possible cost
  • Lead, coach and develop the market Fulfilment Unit operations organisation and the respective store function in a matrix relationship to secure our talent are continuously developed including long-term competence building, succession planning and diversity and inclusion
  • Secure seamless cooperation of Fulfilment Unit Operations with a customer-centric, collaborative, end-to-end and process-oriented mind-set within the market, towards commercial functions and other relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure short- and mid-term capacities and resources in the market's Fulfilment Unit Operations network to provide seamless shopping experience with great quality for the many people

Requirements:

  • IKEA business model, the strategic landscape and IKEA ways of working
  • Good business understanding and knowledge of IKEA processes, supply chain, warehousing operations and service business leading to an excellent customer fulfilment
  • Good knowledge of change and project management and leading in the unknown/exploring
  • 4-6 years working experience in a leadership position, preferable in retail, distribution or similar
  • Experience of working as a management team member
  • Proven successful leadership in delivering both business result and people development in matrix organizations with very good knowledge of different leadership styles and leading in the unknown
  • Experience from leading successful projects or processes on country/market/national level securing the implementation of mid-term and long-term strategies
