Job Description:

We are seeking a leader who is eager to understand the customer and co-workers' needs, demands and expectations in the market and wants to improve the business with a focus on customer satisfaction. Using your experience and knowledge within Supply Chain, (unit) operations or leading teams together with communication and collaboration skills, you create effective relationships across the organization and involve relevant stakeholders to make things happen. You can easily translate business and customer needs into development initiatives. Finally, you are of course a true role model for the IKEA culture and values.

Job Responsibility:

Responsible for securing efficiency, implementing improvements, new operational processes, technologies and ways of working throughout the operations (inbound, replenishment, outbound, services execution) to enable an excellent customer and co-worker experience
Responsible to secure a close cooperation and strong communication with Fulfilment Integration team, unit management team or support functions and External Transport/Service Providers, to secure the highest goods availability and customer order fulfilment at the lowest possible cost
Accountable to ensure that the Fulfilment Operations team works in compliance with the IKEA code of conduct, all functional relevant Standard Operating Procedures, internal IKEA regulations and local legislation related to health, safety, security, and the environment
Responsible for leading, coaching, developing, and inspiring a high performing Fulfilment Operations team by working closely with Fulfilment Integration team, including communication, flexibility, performance culture, competence development, succession planning, maintaining a work environment which supports equality, diversity and inclusion and well-being
Responsible for the implementation of the Customer Fulfilment Sustainability agenda in the assigned unit operations environment.

Requirements:

Able to communicate fluently in English, both written and verbal
Educated with an HBO or University degree (Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management)
3-5 years' working experience in a management position (preferably in distribution, retail, logistics or similar)
Available to work also during weekends, early mornings, and late evenings.
