Job Responsibility

  • You translate the national strategy into a local business plan and ensure it is implemented, together with your colleagues on the management team and other teams.
  • You lead the customer fulfilment team and other store logistics functions and work with the sales team to ensure maximum availability of merchandise and reliable fulfillment of customer orders at the lowest possible cost.
  • You ensure an effective, qualitative and efficient merchandise flow process, including goods receipt, replenishment and order fulfillment, to guarantee product quality, merchandising and inventory accuracy.
  • You contribute, through relevant goods flow input and feedback, to the local business plan and logistics action plan and ensure that these actions are implemented in inbound and outbound goods flow processes.
  • You live the IKEA values and nurture a strong and successful IKEA culture that inspires colleagues to achieve extraordinary results in the store and especially in the goods flow team.

Requirements

  • You have experience of leadership as a manager, preferably in a retail environment or supply chain.
  • You guarantee high availability of the goods for the customer and protect the commercial interests of the store.
  • You direct the key performance indicators of the department.
  • As Goods Flow Manager, you will be responsible for optimizing and developing all warehouse operations to maximize logistics performance.
  • You will ensure that the prerequisites are in place for effective and efficient goods receipt, replenishment of sales areas and preparation of goods for our customers, with a focus on execution excellence.
  • You can work at both strategic and operational level.
  • You have strong analytical skills.
  • You like working on personalised solutions in the short, long and medium-long term.
