At IKEA, Customer Fulfilment plays a critical role in creating a seamless omnichannel shopping experience for our customers. As a Fulfilment Operations Coordinator, you will support the Fulfilment Operations Team Leader in the daily running of fulfilment operations, while leading by example and ensuring operational excellence, safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibility
Supporting the team in planning, coordinating, and performing key fulfilment activities including picking, packing, unloading, loading, and replenishment of customer orders and stock, always with the customer in focus
Supervising daily operations within your assigned area, ensuring routines are followed, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing solutions to optimise performance
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment, ensuring compliance with all safety requirements, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and operational standards
Supporting onboarding and on-the-floor training to build co-worker competence, confidence, and operational capability
Providing feedback, coaching, and day-to-day coordination to support team performance and successful delivery of agreed KPIs
Collaborating with stakeholders across the business to ensure efficient and effective fulfilment operations
Requirements
Experience in retail, logistics, warehousing, fulfilment, or a related operational environment
Experience coordinating daily operations, delegating tasks, and supporting team performance
A strong advocate for safety, ensuring hazards are identified, addressed, and prevented
Excellent communication skills, being able to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to ensure smooth fulfilment operations
Highly organised and able to work in a structured way while maintaining speed and simplicity
Adaptable and capable of delivering results in a dynamic operational environment
Comfortable using technology and able to learn and utilise IKEA systems, tools, and solutions
