Job Responsibility:
Support the Fulfilment Operations Team Leader in daily running of different parts of the fulfilment unit operations as part of the development assignment
Support the team both planning/leading and perform task for major areas of responsibility, picking, packing, unloading, loading and replenishment of goods/orders within the agreed time with the customer in focus
Maintain a clean, organised and safe environment throughout the fulfilment unit
Ensure adherence and compliance of all safety requirements, Standard Operating Procedures and secure proper training across function
Responsible for the achievement of the goals determined by the Fulfilment Operations Manager or Team Leader, in order to support overall fulfilment operations goals and achieve excellence in running operations
Supervise the daily processes in the assigned area of responsibility, identifying and acting on improvement potentials and ensuring that daily routines are followed
Requirements:
University/college degree (Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management) or relevant experience and proven performance in retail and/or logistics role
Proven experience in utilizing technical equipment
Proven record of applying and taking personal initiatives
Computer skills
Experience in planning and improving daily operations
Confident and clear communication in English both written and verbal
Knowledge of retail and/or logistics processes, tools and working methods
Good knowledge and understanding of the customer’s needs, demands and expectations in the local market
Good knowledge and understanding of KPIs used for success measures in own function
Understanding of different leadership styles and their usage according to needs and different situations
Good knowledge of relevant IT systems/solutions/tools
Sound understanding of the IKEA Code of Conduct, as well as regulations and legislation relating to health, safety, and security
Knowledge and skills of safe and efficient forklifts' driving working methods according to IKEA rules and local legislation
Good knowledge of the IKEA Concept, the IKEA Brand Identity and the IKEA Culture & Values
Ability to deliver the results when dealing with the unknown and adapting to changes in Fulfilment Operations
Ability to respond to business and customer needs by providing effective solutions within the area of responsibility
