Job Responsibility

  • Safely and efficiently storing goods, replenishing sales locations, picking, packing, checking, and preparing customer orders for delivery or collection within set KPIs
  • Using IKEA systems to efficiently manage customer workflow
  • Supporting all customer enquiries with a friendly, helpful, knowledgeable approach as you pick orders in a retail store environment, and hand out click and collect orders to customers
  • Actively contributing to the highest possible stock availability by ensuring accurate replenishment, goods storage, picking, checking, hand out, & return flow, and taking responsibility to follow up discrepancies to ensure our customers always have the right information
  • Ensuring IKEA Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), rules, and guidelines are followed throughout the process to ensure the safety of both customers and co-workers
  • Frequent lifting and use of manual handling equipment such as pallet jacks, while working safely alongside forklift operations
  • Supporting the wider fulfilment operations team with tasks where required with tasks like goods replenishment

Requirements

  • Strong interest in supply chain and efficient & safe fulfilment operations

  • Collaborative, as well as a high level of autonomy so you can work effectively independently
  • An energetic approach as you will be on your feet all day, frequently lifting, and using manual handling equipment such as pallet jacks
