Job Description:

Collaborates with the dispensing pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to accurately and efficiently prepare patient medication orders, package customer orders for shipment, and receive and stock supplies. Position is on site in Columbia, MD. Shift 10AM-7PM Monday-Friday.

Job Responsibility:

Collaborates with dispensing pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to prepare patient medication orders
Package customer orders for shipment
Receive and stock supplies
Gather orders for shipment
Prepare labels and ship orders
Maintain stock in warehouse area
Collect information for restocking packing stations
Compose sorting order forms
Monitor unlocking stations
Train new operations assistants
Scan data multi-piece handling
Follow workflow
Order packing supplies
Perform monthly audits
Gather pharmacy files and records

Requirements:

Basic awareness of problem solving and decision-making skills
Minimum of six months general work experience
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs
Must be able to stand, walk and lift for up to ten hours daily
Ability to reach, twist, turn, bend, stoop and walk
High school diploma / GED

Nice to have:

Six months work experience in a pick/pack/ship environment
Three months of work and computer experience
