Job Description

Fuel Terminal Controller Clydebank £37,952 + shift allowance & benefits 12 month Fixed Term Contract An established organisation within the energy and infrastructure sector is seeking a Terminal Controller to support operations at its Clydebank site on a 12 month FTC. This role is key to ensuring the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of products, while maintaining high safety and compliance standards. Shift pattern: 10 months of the year is x2 day shifts followed by x2 night shifts then 6 days off. The other 2 months of the year it is straight days Mon-Fri.

Job Responsibility

  • Supervise vehicle loading and product movements
  • Ensure compliance with site safety, environmental and operational procedures
  • Monitor contractor and driver activities on site
  • Carry out routine operational checks and basic maintenance tasks
  • Respond to alarms and support emergency procedures

Requirements

  • Experience within fuel terminals, logistics, or process/industrial environments
  • Trades experience (mechanical/electrical) preferred
  • Trades qualification e.g. HNC, BTEC mechanical or electrical with process operating qualifications would be an advantage
  • Strong focus on safety and ability to follow strict procedures
  • Good communication and basic IT skills
  • Ability to work independently, including nights/weekends

  • Trades experience (mechanical/electrical)
  • Trades qualification e.g. HNC, BTEC mechanical or electrical with process operating qualifications
