Construct and assemble fuel and lubricant storage tanks
Respond to service calls to diagnose and repair tanks, pumps, and related equipment
Perform routine maintenance at unattended gas stations to ensure proper operation
Assist with fuel management system installations and upgrades
Clean, inspect, and conduct preventative maintenance on fuel tanks
Sand, prep, and paint tanks and related equipment
Deliver pumps, parts, and other equipment to customer locations
Conduct tank investigations, including troubleshooting and issue identification
Be present onsite during inspections of gas stations and fueling systems
Coordinate repair activities with vendors and third-party contractors
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tank shop and work areas
Assist with unloading tanks and materials using a forklift
Abide by all safety regulations to ensure safety of oneself, coworkers and customers
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (or relevant work experience)
Basic mechanical aptitude
Ability to read and understand instructions, safety procedures, and work orders
Basic math skills (measurements, calculations, and material quantities)
Ability to lift 100 lbs. independently or with assisted lifting devices
Valid driver's license with acceptable MVR
Nice to have:
Previous experience in tank service, fuel systems, or industrial maintenance preferred
Basic electrical experience
Experience operating a forklift or willingness to be trained
Experience working at gas stations or with fueling systems
Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs and inspections
