Job Description:

The AF Group is looking for a proactive and customer‑focused Fuel Coordinator to support the Fuel Procurement Manager and Senior Fuel Specialist in delivering best‑value procurement and outstanding service to AF Members across our Fuel and Affinity Fuels portfolio. You’ll play a key role in achieving our fuel pillar business objectives, ensuring Members receive competitive pricing, excellent communication, and a consistently high level of service.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work closely with the Fuels and Affinity Fuels teams to identify new ways of working, growth opportunities, and support achievement of fuel budgets
  • Maintain strong knowledge of fuel products, markets, and any technical or commercial developments that may impact Members
  • Keep the Fuel and Service Hub teams updated with relevant supplier, product, and Member information
  • Support the Communications team with Member updates, including email alerts, newsletters, and weekly communications
  • Ensure all fuel category processes and procedures are followed, with accurate recording and reporting of activity
  • Act as first‑line support for Members wishing to discuss or order fuel
  • Manage the fuel inbox, including order confirmations and Member queries
  • Liaise with the Service Hub to ensure smooth delivery of fuel services
  • Promote and manage fuel cards for Members
  • Support tank monitoring and order processes
  • Contribute to proactive sales and growth campaigns
  • Build strong, consistent relationships with Members and act as a value‑adding link between Members and suppliers
  • Keep Members informed about product changes, industry challenges, and market developments
  • Gather Member feedback to support continuous improvement
  • Deliver exceptional customer service at all times
  • Support wider teams during peak periods by answering calls, emails, and general enquiries
