Job Description:

We are looking for (Fibre to the Home) Engineers to work on the Openreach network with both residential, handling the full installation and maintenance of telecom services, including customer connections. You’ll work across Full Fibre networks, delivering end-to-end solutions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Network Build-outs: Install new telecom services by running overhead lines on utility poles, subducting protective ducts underground
  • Customer installations: Visit customers’ homes or businesses to set up internal cabling and make sure their new services are working perfectly
  • Network Maintenance: Work with live network infrastructures— ducts, and poles
  • Quality & Safety: Follow strict safety procedures, and ensure all equipment is safe to use
  • Help restore sites, leaving every location clean and safe for our customers
  • Reporting & Admin: Use our systems to record your work and keep information up to date in a timely manner

Requirements:

  • NRSWA SLG and PIA Accreditations are preferable
  • Must have experience with both overhead and underground PIA networks
  • Additional accreditations such as A001, S8, SA051C, SA002, SA007, S7, N022, SA020, N037, and K008 are highly desirable
  • Strong practical knowledge of telecom networks
  • Proficiency with power tools
  • Basic IT skills for using mobile job management apps
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Professional approach when dealing with customers, the public, and stakeholders
