Do you want to help adults gain the skills and confidence they need to move into work, training, or further learning? We’re looking for an enthusiastic Tutor to deliver high‑quality employability, personal and social development, and IAG‑focused courses across Gloucestershire as well as design and deliver sector-based work academy programmes, across sectors such as Catering, Cleaning, Hospitality, Retail. You’ll play a key role in designing and delivering high‑quality learning programmes that make a real difference across our county and to people's lives.
Job Responsibility:
Plan and deliver engaging learning in community settings to adults
Assess learner needs, track progress, and record achievements
Embed English, maths, digital and language skills into your sessions
Support adults with diverse learning needs and help them move on to their next steps
Maintain accurate records and contribute to quality assurance
Provide high‑quality information, advice and guidance
Work collaboratively as part of a friendly, supportive team
Deliver high‑quality employability, personal and social development, and IAG‑focused courses across Gloucestershire
Design and deliver sector-based work academy programmes, across sectors such as Catering, Cleaning, Hospitality, Retail
Requirements:
Level 3 Education & Training (or equivalent)
Minimum 1 year teaching experience
Level 2 English and maths
Competent use of Microsoft Office Programs
Confidence or willingness to learn usage of Learner Management Systems
Willingness to upskill in other areas of delivery
Experience teaching adults or community groups
Ability to design learner‑centred programmes
Confident use of digital tools in teaching
Strong communication skills and a flexible, positive approach
Commitment to safeguarding, equality, and continuous improvement
Access to a vehicle and ability to travel across Gloucestershire
Right to work that enables commitment to at least 6 months employment
