Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an FSC FM Auditor. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in conducting Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Forest Management (FM) audits to assess compliance with FSC standards and criteria. The FSC FM Auditor will work closely with clients to evaluate forestry practices, ensure sustainable management, and contribute to the preservation of our forests.

Job Responsibility

  • Plan and execute FSC FM audits in accordance with Bureau Veritas and FSC requirements
  • Assess and evaluate forestry practices, ensuring compliance with FSC standards and criteria
  • Prepare comprehensive audit reports outlining findings, conclusions, and recommendations
  • Build strong relationships with clients, providing guidance on FSC certification processes and requirements
  • Communicate audit results and collaborate with clients to develop corrective action plans where necessary
  • Stay abreast of FSC standards, regulations, and industry best practices
  • Ensure audits align with FSC guidelines and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Maintain accurate and organized audit documentation
  • Generate clear and concise reports, highlighting key findings and recommendations
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry trends and audit methodologies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in forestry, environmental science, or a related field
  • FSC Lead Auditor certification is preferred
  • Proven experience in conducting FSC FM audits
  • Strong knowledge of FSC standards and criteria
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Willingness to travel to various locations for audits
