Job Description

The Facility Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the general upkeep, safety, and functionality of the manufacturing facility and its support systems. This role coordinates facility-related services, manages contractors and service providers, ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The Facility Coordinator works closely with the Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Planner/Scheduler, and other departments to support a safe, efficient, and well-maintained workplace.

Job Responsibility

  • Proactively support all Employee Health and Safety (EH&S) procedures and policies
  • Coordinate facility maintenance and repairs, including HVAC, lighting, air compressors plumbing, cranes, water treatment, chillers, camera systems, fire emergency systems and other building infrastructure
  • Schedule and oversee work performed by external contractors and service providers
  • Manage facility inspections, compliance checks, and regulatory documentation
  • Support planning and execution of facility upgrades, renovations, and shutdowns
  • Maintain records of facility assets, warranties, and service agreements
  • Respond to facility-related emergencies and coordinate corrective actions
  • Communicate facility status, issues, and improvement opportunities to the Maintenance Manager and team
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Three (3) years of experience in facility coordination or management in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Experience with CMMS platform (eMaint preferred)
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Basic understanding of building systems and facility operations
