Fry Cook. As a Fry Cook at ilili, you are an ambassador of hospitality with a curiosity to explore Lebanese, Levantine, and Middle Eastern inspired cuisine.
Job Responsibility
Setup and stock stations with all necessary supplies
Master all recipes from prep to plate
Comply consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures
Ensure appropriate health and safety standards and best practices
Clean food preparation areas and properly take care of any leftover food
Handle, store, and rotate all ingredients as needed
Verify that prepared food quality is up to the standard of quality expected
Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fryers, or griddles
Prepare all food orders in a timely manner as delegated by the expeditor
Communicate with other team members and management regarding food items and orders
Train new Fry Cooks (as needed) on delivering excellent service while maintaining standard shift responsibilities noted above
Assist fellow team members as needed to ensure seamless customer experience
Requirements
A minimum of 2 years experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Ability to communicate clearly with Managers, kitchen team, and FOH staff
Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach for up to 9 hours and up to 40 lbs
A strong attention to detail, organization, and elevated sense-of-urgency
Proven track record of dependability and a passion for hospitality
Flexible availability: weekends, nights, and holiday availability is a must
