Job Description:

As a Front-End Engineer on the Meta UI Team at KAYAK, you will develop new features for the main site, primarily working on search-related pages but also across other verticals. Projects will impact users worldwide, utilizing skills in React, JavaScript, CSS, and collaboration with product and design teams. Work focuses on front-end performance optimization and UI development adherence to best practices.

Job Responsibility:

Develop and maintain core UI components using React, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
Collaborate with the design and product teams to implement intuitive user interfaces
Optimize front-end performance and ensure consistency across platforms
Contribute to defining best practices and standards for UI development

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in visual web application development
Proficiency in React, JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, and HTML
Strong problem-solving skills in front-end development
Ability to translate design concepts into functional UI elements
Excellent communication skills in English
