We're looking for a delivery-focused React TypeScript engineer to improve a product that has helped freelancers & clients deliver hundreds of thousands of successful projects. The role is frontend-leaning but developers work on both sides of the stack. Our product team is small but growing, fostering an ownership-first culture where teams are accountable for outcomes and own their code end-to-end. We embrace AI-assisted engineering and provide budget for AI-tooling. Our team is remote-first and works asynchronously, with monthly retros for those in London. We're open to remote-only developers in UK-friendly timezones.

Job Responsibility:

  • Planning code solutions for long-term goals
  • Delivering new user-facing features with reusable UI components
  • Working closely with stakeholders, product and design to implement new feature concepts
  • Owning development process from design to production evaluation
  • Using LLM-development methodologies to ship code faster
  • Ensuring good DORA metrics
  • Working in CI-backed environment in three-week cycles

Requirements:

  • Experience working on front-end heavy applications, particularly React
  • Experience with TypeScript
  • Experience working with remote distributed teams and async communication patterns
  • Belief in testing and code quality
  • Deep understanding of how the web and browsers work
  • Comfortable with Git and CI workflows, especially GitHub actions
  • Prefer to move quickly and iteratively
  • Like to start new things and continuously learn from mistakes
