Job Description:

Frontend engineers in Zalando's Customer Care product team build and maintain the customer-facing self-help tools used by 50 million customers across Europe. They are crucial to improving customer satisfaction and operational efficiency by creating intuitive user interfaces that empower customers to resolve issues independently. This role involves collaborating with a cross-functional team (backend, Salesforce, applied scientists, product managers, etc.) to develop scalable, AI-powered solutions. Success is measured by metrics like self-service rates, contact volume, and customer satisfaction, giving high visibility to leadership. Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and maintain scalable frontend systems for customer self-service tools, integrating with Salesforce Service Cloud
  • Build responsive web and mobile applications
  • Utilize technologies like AI and automation to enhance self-service capabilities
  • Work closely with other frontend engineers, AI specialists, Salesforce developers, and other stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Experience building and maintaining high-traffic applications, ideally in a B2C environment
  • Experience with modular design, reusable components/libraries, and potentially micro-frontends or design systems

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • At least 3+ years of experience in frontend development
