Job Description:

We are on the quest to find a new developer to join our frontend team in Valencia. LORIOT is a global scaleup operating in the Internet of Things industry. Our mission is to make IoT accessible to everyone in the world as we believe that technology plays an essential role in making our planet a better place. Our team is young, energetic, motivated, and we would like to add another like-minded person to it. At LORIOT we promote a culture of talent, which is why we are looking for a professional to join and grow within the company rather than collaborating with agencies or freelancers.

Job Responsibility:

Develop front-end of a global IoT network and SaaS infrastructure
Be agile, adapt to business-driven changes in projects and products
Collaborate with back-end team and embedded software team
Understand the aspects of maintainability, stability and compatibility
Make code reviews and be code reviewed
Implement automated tests

Requirements:

Feel comfortable with Angular16/17/React or Vanilla Javascript
Knowledge about CSS3, HTML5
Interest in types and functional programming
Version control system using Git
Agile development methods & tools (JIRA)
Work in 100% Linux environment (desktop & server)
Be solvent with CSS frameworks or patterns like Bootstrap or flex layout
Holder of (at least) a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
Fluent in English

Nice to have:

Any other languages are an asset and can be put to good use
Excited about working at a startup and on small, talented team
Message brokers (MQTT, AMQP)
