Job Description

Our client, a leading financial services business, operating at the heart of the financial markets, are seeking a candidate to support the front office traders with their BAU processes regarding the origination and trading of interest rate & currency derivatives.

Job Responsibility

  • Daily input of trades into internal system as a part of the revaluation of the derivatives book
  • Ensure trades are recorded and posted correctly in the trading system
  • Preparation of month-end reports for internal and external reporting
  • Daily input of market variables such as swap rates and swaption volatility, required for the daily valuation and P&L drivers of the derivatives portfolio
  • Participate in projects on process improvement and internal controls

Requirements

  • A minimum of 4-5 years experience in a Trade support/Assistant, Controls or front office support function
  • Exposure to Fixed Income or Currency Derivatives and their associated pricing
  • Experience of working with Python and/or VBA to improve processes/reporting or internal controls is essential
  • Excellent communication with good verbal and written skills
  • Experience of working within a fast paced environment
