We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Front Office Supervisor to join our team at our luxurious resort in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As a Front Office Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth operations in our bustling tropical island setting.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and motivate the front office team, fostering a collaborative and customer-focused environment
Organise and oversee daily tasks, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality service delivery
Coach and develop team members, sharing knowledge and best practices
Handle guest complaints and concerns promptly and professionally
Make decisive operational decisions to maintain service standards
Manage shift registrations, administration, and evaluations
Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
Identify areas for improvement and implement innovative solutions
Monitor and contribute to the department's performance goals
Maintain a welcoming and organised front desk area
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a front office role within the hospitality industry
Proven leadership and coaching abilities
Extensive knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS), particularly Opera Cloud
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexibly across various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights, and weekends
Strong administrative and organisational skills
Proficiency in multitasking and working accurately under pressure
Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to guest satisfaction
Fluency in English
Hospitality or tourism-related qualifications are advantageous
Demonstrated ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
Enthusiasm for delivering exceptional guest experiences in a tropical resort setting
Nice to have:
Additional language skills, particularly Vietnamese, are highly desirable
