Job Description

The Fixed Income Rates production support group provides direct support to a diverse set of trading desks all trading under the “Rates” banner. Your responsibilities will be aligned to supporting platform and tools that the front office business & traders needs to facilitate its franchise within Citi, providing exposure to the entire breadth of the Rates Technology. We are the first line of technical defense as we work closely with partners in our business including Trading, Sales, Operations & Risk and Controls to operate stable platforms to enable us to the be the best for our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for production management of our suite of core Rates (G10 and Local Markets) applications, working through problems, and dealing with user issues. The candidate will also be responsible for driving engineering initiates, improving process workflows, and eliminating toil through automation by building/implementing solutions.

Job Responsibility

  • Direct Front Office Support Experience: 3+ years of proven experience providing technical support directly to Front Office within a financial institution
  • Financial Product Expertise: Hands-on experience with financial products, with a strong preference for Fixed Income/Rates
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated hands-on technical experience, (Linux environment preferred), including system administration, bash scripting, relational databases
  • Production Support: Know procedures around incident handling, including identification, triage, escalation, communication, troubleshooting, resolution, post-incident review and prevention
