We are now looking for a Hotel Porter/Driver to join our friendly Front Office team. Our Front Office Porter/Driver are amongst the first to greet our guests so strong customer service skills are a must. Job Responsibility

  • Greeting guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Carrying guests luggage to and from rooms
  • Labelling all guest luggage and maintaining luggage room in a clean and tidy manner
  • Supporting the front office team with check ins/outs and guest requests
  • Use of Hotel vehicles for transporting guests around the estate and collection of guests from local train stations
  • Maintenance & regular checks of hotel vehicles and bicycles
  • Valet parking of guests vehicles
  • To be responsible for placing the correct luggage in the correct room and notifying the manager upon completion
  • To be responsible for collecting luggage from the rooms of departing guests and placing it in the correct vehicle or labelling it and keeping it in the luggage room

Requirements

  • At least 25 years old (for insurance to drive guest cars)
  • Full clean UK driving licence
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Open schedule to work evenings and weekends
