Job Description:

The Front Office Night Supervisor at JW Marriott Minneapolis Mall of America is responsible for completing cashier and closing reports, processing guest check-ins, resolving guest issues, and ensuring adherence to company standards. The role also involves assisting in employee training and maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor.

Job Responsibility:

Complete designated cashier and closing reports
Review shift logs/daily memo books
Contact appropriate individual or department to resolve guest call, request, or problem
Process all guest check-ins
Sell a room/accommodation to guests without reservations
Ensure rates match market codes
Ensure checks from outlets are scanned and charged to room
Assist management in training, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
Follow all company policies and procedures
Welcome and acknowledge all guests
Speak with others using clear and professional language
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 1 year of related work experience
At least 1 year of supervisory experience
