Job Description

The Hilton Austin Airport is looking for a Front Office Manager to help lead the team! This position reports to the General Manager and helps oversee a team of between 15-20 ppl. The ideal candidate will be a high-energy leader who has experience in a high-volume operation and a talent for mentoring others.

Job Responsibility

  • Direct and administer Front Office operations
  • Oversee all Front Office operations including guest check-in/check-out room inventory service standards quality control cost management systems usage budgeting forecasting and policy enforcement
  • Lead schedule train and develop Front Office team members through coaching performance evaluations counseling and recognition
  • Monitor guest service and satisfaction trends address service gaps and implement improvements
  • Ensure compliance with all company and brand standards policies and procedures
  • Actively engage with guests respond to inquiries and concerns resolve complaints and manage guest recovery efforts including brand Guest Alerts
  • Drive revenue through effective up-selling strategies and ensure team knowledge of hotel services amenities pricing and local attractions
  • Recruit interview onboard and train new team members and complete audit and operational controls as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years' Front Office management experience
  • 1 to 3 years hospitality related experience including front desk operations experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including days evenings weekends and holidays
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of PEP
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
