The Hilton Austin Airport is looking for a Front Office Manager to help lead the team! This position reports to the General Manager and helps oversee a team of between 15-20 ppl. The ideal candidate will be a high-energy leader who has experience in a high-volume operation and a talent for mentoring others.
Job Responsibility:
Direct and administer Front Office operations
Oversee all Front Office operations including guest check-in/check-out room inventory service standards quality control cost management systems usage budgeting forecasting and policy enforcement
Lead schedule train and develop Front Office team members through coaching performance evaluations counseling and recognition
Monitor guest service and satisfaction trends address service gaps and implement improvements
Ensure compliance with all company and brand standards policies and procedures
Actively engage with guests respond to inquiries and concerns resolve complaints and manage guest recovery efforts including brand Guest Alerts
Drive revenue through effective up-selling strategies and ensure team knowledge of hotel services amenities pricing and local attractions
Recruit interview onboard and train new team members and complete audit and operational controls as assigned
Requirements:
Minimum of 1-2 years' Front Office management experience
1 to 3 years hospitality related experience including front desk operations experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work a flexible schedule including days evenings weekends and holidays
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Nice to have:
Knowledge of PEP
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
