Job Description:

To provide high quality assistance to the Global Equities business teams through the coordination, execution and implementation of procedures within the business and provide EA support to allocated leaders.

Job Responsibility:

  • Facilitate the booking of business travel and agendas and process expense claims, expense reports and visa applications as required
  • Maintain RBCs contact and CRM relationship management system and assist staff as required
  • Provide administrative support to include: answering phones, reserving conference rooms, facilitating special printing requirements and assist with meeting room catering requirements and handling ad hoc requests from the team
  • Provide assistance with producing or enhancing correspondence and comments such as presentations, spreadsheets or reports as required
  • Provide assistance with desk moves, new joiners and team changes, as required
  • Manage the entertainment events and prepare the appropriate request forms and client details required
  • Book the teams annual holidays in ADP and report absences Assist with special project requests as needed to support the evolving platform

Requirements:

  • Experience of front office support is essential
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team setting
  • Proven ability to work and communicate with varying levels of seniority
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong organisational, follow through, attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Ability to prioritise multiple administrative tasks in a high paced, stressful environment
  • Ability to take initiative, function independently, unsupervised and work as a team player

Nice to have:

  • Preferred experience in Financial Markets environment
  • Knowledge of Equities business highly desirable
