We are looking for a friendly, professional, and enthusiastic Hotel Receptionist to join our Front Office team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in creating a warm welcome and ensuring every stay runs smoothly from arrival to departure. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a busy environment, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver a warm and professional welcome to all guests
Manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately
Handle guest enquiries in person, by phone, and via email
Assist guests with information about hotel facilities and local attractions
Resolve guest concerns promptly, escalating where necessary
Ensure guest accounts and billing are accurate
Process reservations, amendments, and cancellations
Operate the hotel’s property management system
Handle payments and maintain accurate records
Communicate effectively with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Spa, and Maintenance teams
Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area
Follow hotel procedures, standards, and security policies
Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments
Support the team during busy periods
Demonstrate flexibility and a proactive attitude
Uphold the hotel’s brand values and service standards at all times
Requirements:
Previous experience in hospitality or customer service (hotel experience desirable but not essential)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional telephone manner
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
A calm, positive approach under pressure
Basic IT proficiency (PMS experience advantageous)
Smart and professional presentation
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
