We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Front of House Manager to join our team at San Domenico Palace Taormina, a Four Seasons Hotel. Reporting directly to the Director of Rooms, you will oversee the Front Desk, Concierge, Guest Services, and Core Team, ensuring seamless guest experiences from reservation through arrival and throughout their stay. Your role is pivotal in maintaining the highest standards of service, supporting team development, and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and supervise daily operations of Front Desk, Concierge, Guest Services, and Core Team
Ensure smooth coordination between departments to deliver personalized guest experiences
Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and resolve complaints promptly and professionally
Train, coach, and mentor team members, conducting regular performance reviews and supporting career development
Monitor schedules and staffing levels to ensure operational efficiency and service excellence
Conduct daily inspections of Front of House areas to maintain Four Seasons standards
Support the Director of Rooms in achieving financial targets related to labor, supplies, and departmental expenses
Implement and maintain guest service programs that enhance loyalty and satisfaction
Act promptly and effectively in emergencies to ensure guest and employee safety
Requirements:
Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in front of house, guest experience, hospitality operations or service leadership roles within luxury environments
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to connect with guests and inspire service excellence in teams
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to managing guest expectations
Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism
Demonstrated experience in managing and developing teams, with the ability to motivate, coach and drive high performance while maintaining a strong service culture
Fluent in English (Italian is a strong advantage)
