As a FOH Shift lead you’re cross-trained to lead the front door and deliver table service. You set the tone at the entrance, manage guest flow, and provide warm, efficient service on the floor. You uphold Boston Pizza hospitality standards, support teammates, and keep shifts smooth from open to close.
Job Responsibility:
Guest Greeting & Seating: Welcome guests within 30 seconds, quote accurate wait times, manage the waitlist, and seat using a fair rotation
Table Service:Take orders, upsell appropriately, run food/drinks, check back, process payments, and close checks accurately when needed
Flow & Coordination: Balance server sections, coordinate with kitchen, bar, takeout, and delivery

Standards & Safety: Follow BP brand standards, Smart Serve rules, and food-safety/cleanliness protocols
Guest Recovery: Handle concerns with empathy and escalate when needed

Requirements:
minimum 2+ years in full-service dining (host and/or server experience an asset)
Smart Serve (Ontario) required
Food Handler certification an asset
POS proficiency, strong communication, calm under pressure
Able to lift up to ~25 lb, stand/walk for long periods
