Job Description:

We currently have an amazing opportunity to join the team as a Front Of House Manager. The Caledonian Hotel offers a range of suites, including single, double, twin and family rooms. Some rooms also offer beautiful views over the surrounding lakes. All rooms are fully equipped with everything guests need for a relaxing stay. Room facilities include an en-suite bathroom, hairdryer, linen, tea and coffee maker, a TV and a telephone. There is also an on-site restaurant at the Caledonian Hotel, so you won’t need to travel far to enjoy local cuisine. The restaurant is famed for its traditional fare, but you’ll also find all the old favourites on the menu here. As well as the restaurant, the hotel offers a bar and snack bar where weary travellers can refuel.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure highest levels of customer service are delivered to guests
Understand the impact of effective cost control
Ensure a good level of product and local knowledge for guests
Ensure co operation and compliance with all legislation relevant to your role
Ensure that Learning and Development is undertaken to enable you to fulfil your job role
Ensuring efficient friendly service is offered when dealing with all guest requirements at the front desk and handling telephone enquiries effectively
Ensure all staff are fully aware of the booking procedures to maximise the sale and revenue in the hotel
Co-operating with all departments in the hotel to ensure the correct reports and information are provided on request
Ensure the front desk is kept presentable and manned at all times
Demonstrating a working knowledge of all services and facilities of the hotel and the local area
You and your team will be responsible for maximising room revenues in line with the Company standards

Requirements:

At least 1 years’ experience in a similar position
Ability to deliver great service to guests
Passionate about hospitality
Reliable
Willing to learn as part of a growing team
